The El Paso Rotary Club, original sponsors of the movement for making El Paso the Polo
Capital for winter play in the United States, voted that when an appropriate program was formulated, it would donate a fine trophy to the cause.
Approving the plans of the Border Polo Assn., their brain-child, they have accordingly bought a large trophy, which stands 42 inches high and is one of the most handsome pieces of silversmith available.
This trophy will be given to the team from the El Paso Southwest that wins the annual tournament or series of tournaments now planned.
First Leg Sunday
The first leg of this play will begin next Sunday, and end the following Sunday.
Teams playing Sunday afternoon at El Valle Field will be Plainview Tex. vs. Silver City, and El Valle vs. Juarez.

The final play of the first leg will be held at El Valle Field Oct. 8. There will be a game in a consolation bracket as well as the championship tilt.
