After making the long trip to El Paso from Lake Benton, Minn., his home, A.E. Tasker, newspaper proprietor, was happy yesterday when, through the efforts of the city detective department, he located his missing son, Herbert.
The young man says that he was slugged several weeks ago by highwaymen in San Antonio and that since that time he has suffered frequent lapses of memory. For periods of three or four days at a time, he said, he would be unable to recall even his name. He wrote to a friend in Lake Benton after coming to El Paso, telling him of his peculiar ailment. This friend notified the father, who immediately boarded a train for El Paso.
Detective Cunningham located young Tasker working for a carnival here. He probably will return with his father. He is a printer by trade and worked at Taylor, Texas, before going to San Antonio.
The man who has made up his mind to win will never say "impossible".You have to believe in yourself. That's the secret of success.
