Joe Rogers Loses Job Only to Have Another Ready
__
Joe Rogers, who was "legislated" out of office by the city council Thursday night, when his office of city detective was abolished, was yesterday appointed a deputy sheriff, and went on duty at once. He was assigned to the class of work that his position under the city required of him, an will look after all the special cases.
J.B. Larrazola, who resigned his position as corporation clerk, stated yesterday that he would go to work for a business firm in this city as a bookkeeper. So far no name has been considered for the place caused by the resignation of Larrazola except that of Jim Dwyer.
