The Bruce Willis in El Paso sightings have started. Willis in El Paso to film the movie “Welcome to Jericho” spent much of Thursday night at the Lamplighter Lounge, a topless dancing club at 9857 Montana.
The actor – wearing jeans, a tight-fitting blue T-shirt and a green baseball cap – was joined by an entourage of about five or six other men who spent a little more than four hours in a darkened corner at the club.
“After he arrived, one whole part of the room didn’t have any girls because they were all over with him,” said one dancer, who asked not to be identified. Willis would not consent to interviews, club managers said.
The actor spent much of his time getting “table dances” from a variety of entertainers at the club. Occasionally he would light up a cigarette and wander about chatting with other men in the club.
After returning from the bathroom at one point, Willis suddenly stopped and placed fingers from his right hand on his left wrist. “What are you doing,” asked a nearby customer, who coincidentally was wearing a jacket featuring the logo of Planet Hollywood, a restaurant chain co-owned by Willis.
“I’m taking my pulse. I always take my pulse,” Willis said. After a pause he said, “Ok, I’m going to live,” flipped his baseball cap backward and returned to his seat for another table dance.
Willis and his wife, actress Demi Moore, were reportedly looking to rent a house in El Paso last month for use while he was filming in the city. Moore, whose current movie project is “Striptease” in which she plays a topless dancer, was not at the Lamplighter with her husband.
