Mexican Machinist Notified of inheritance at Barcelona
Antonio Saurez Solis, a Mexican mechanist employed in this city, has fallen heir to the sum of $12,500, or at least a message has been received from Barcelona Spain, to that effect. The message did not come to Solis, but was received by Manuel E. Flores, who succeeded in locating the heir after a three weeks' search.
Solis left Barcelona, where he was born, many years ago and went to Mexico, where he resided until about six years ago, when he came to El Paso. He is said to be related to several wealthy families in Spain and presumes that one of his distant relatives has died, leaving him a small fortune.
This may be, however, a repetition of a hoax which was widely worked several years ago when hundreds of citizens of this country received letters telling them of large fortunes left them and that would be secured for them if they would send the attorneys' fees. Those who sent the fee required did not receive any response, and it is thought that the writer of the letters made a small fortune for himself at the expense of those he gulled.
Very impressive work. I liked your work. You did very well posting. Good luck with your work. ;)
