UTEP had a tough time in going 2-6 against what is now a 1-6 Tulane team.

Held on. It's a plus.

But this was not an omen that the UTEP football team will rebound from a terrible start.

Beating Tulane 24-20 moved UTEP to 2-6. Tulane is now 1-6.

UTEP didn't score against these guys in the second half. And starting quarterback Nick Lamaison is out hurt yet again.
