Ole Miss, is a beatable team...

First, UTEP might surprise the pundits and win one or both of the games. It could happen

Second, the team won't progress unless it plays better competition.

Third, with funding as it is, there isn't much choice but to take on some $$$ games.

Fourth, it's perfectly natural --- take a look at upcoming season for UNM and NMSU. UNM gets Arkansas, Nevada, TCU, Boise and Texas Tech. Three top 10 teams and two top 25 teams. NMSU: Georgia, BYU, Minnesota, Nevada, and Ohio. One top ten and at least one top 25. If those schools have the cajones to schedule tough teams, why not UTEP?

If they do lose these two games, hopfully they will play them tough. I do think it's in their best interest to play good teams. As long as they don't get stomped I think it will help put fans in the seats. Plus the money helps also.

Another piece of crap article by Joe "Crap" Meunch. I even bother reading this article. I already know it's him being negative about UTEP. When is he getting fired!!! I guess the EP Times is anti-UTEP.

They need to start playing mid- level BCS teams like Northwestern, GA Tech, Virginia to home and home instead a one for none. Even if the ELP sold out the Sun Bowl for every game, they still would have to play a "body bag" game because of economics.

UTEP will probably lose these games but it will generate some income. It's also better than last years schedule where they played cup-cakes, didn't generate any fan interest, and showed their weakness against better competition. Maybe by playing up they will be better prepared come conference play.

About time they faced tough team.
Last years schedule was full of patsies and still finished with a losing season.

This year they start of with Stony Brook! At least they're scheduling recognizable teams. They will get killed but, play recognizable teams.

Fire Joe Muench--what? Do you mean to tell me somebody at the Times actually PAYS him real money for the simple-minded derogatory crap he writes about the Miners? ...Yikes! You gotta be kidding.

I think it's great, let's play with the big boy's and see if I have what it takes to play this game. I bet the players are excited, something to look foward to. Games like that build character, as long as there is no giving up. Play them hard who knows, remember the BYU game. Where were you!

Running Barefoot

The difference between the right word and the almost right word is more than just a fine line! it's like the difference between a lightning bug and the lightning!

Marlon McClure has had off-the-field woes and won't likely be back for his junior season.DCUO Cash:http://www.dcuniversecash.com

Christmas is probably the most special day of the year for children. One thing that makes it special is the popular tradition of Santa Claus.
