UTEP coach Tim Floyd's mother, Alice Bishop, passed away last Thursday after a long illness. She was 88.
Sympathies to Tim and his family.
Funeral was Monday in her long-time home of Hattiesburg, Miss., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
In a beautiful gesture, Mrs. Bishop asked that donations be sent to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston to be used for patient's families to help with housing while a family member is receiving cancer treatment.
Again, we all offer our sympathies to Tim and his family.
