Better get your UTEP basketball tickets soon

In the previous post, Lowercase Ray asked:

UAB is our last game of the regular season. Should sell out quick! Anybody know if the ticket office is already selling tickets for that game?

Yeah, they are selling tickets for that game, Ray! Pablo and I bought ours several weeks ago.

In fact, associate athletic director for media relations Jeff Darby says there are only 2,000 seats left for that game.

There are two home games left: Saturday vs. Rice, and March 6 vs. UAB. There are about 2,000 seats left for each game, Darby said.

"To have only 2,000 left for UAB 10 days in advance of the game is very good," Darby said.

So run over to the ticket center soon, or fire up Ticketmaster, folks.

Does anyone know if there are any plans to move the UAB game to the afternoon, understand that they have the Monster Truck at the Sun Bowl that night as well, it will be hell with parking.

Looks like you are correct about the Monster Truck show, 84 Miner. It's even at the same time: 7 p.m.

I'm guessing no times will be changed. Maybe they'll offer some shuttles or something.

Thanks Jay, I had tickets for Rice and now I've gotten my tickets for the UAB game. Unless you're looking for seats in the oncies, you'll have to sit up high in the DHC where I'll be at. At least I'll be there.
