The early lines are in and UTEP is a 4.5-point favorite in its season opener against Buffalo this Saturday at the Sun Bowl. Many figured this line would be tight. But plenty of us figured it'd swing in the other direction. But that was before Buffalo lost its top player in running back James Starks.
So whose taking the Miners to cover on their parlay?
heh... Miners will find a way to lose it, they'll be up the entire game just to drop it in the last 5 minutes.

The Buffalo game is more easily winnable than the Kansas game that follows. The Miners cannot afford to drop this game going into Kansas. I expect the Miners to bring a sense of urgency to this game.
I don't think this game will be a blowout in either direction.

I'd take that bet. Let us not forgot UTEP not to long ago was a gambler's best friend by usually always covering the spread win or lose. GO MINERS!
