Pickup Andropoff

El Paso is a very international city, and soccer is a very international sport. You would think that an MLS franchise in town would be a match made in heaven. But until the city or county fork out some cash from a bond issue or some other avenue, it is a moot point. Even then, I wonder if the local populace would support it. Not only because of the monetary investment, but also because of the pre-concieved notion that MLS is not world class. To those people, I would have to say: "So how do you explain Real Salt Lake beating Cruz Azul in the Champions league?"

Sad to say, but WE as El Pasoan suck as fans!!! that's why we can't get anything here!
