There are no assurances. No bowl is knocking down Bob Stull's door to get the Miners to come to their city. But the fact is UTEP is 6-4 after its 28-14 win over SMU, and they are at least eligible to be called if anyone will have them.
Some happy Miners sang the fight song after the game with the UTEP Marching Miners...
UTEP's Trevor Vittatoe, Evan Davis, Marlon McClure, Robert Soleyjacks and Austin Contreras talked about the win, followed by head coach Mike Price.
Where was this team for the last 3 games!?

IS UTEP GOING TO PLAY IN SUN BOWL? ANY CHANCE UTEP PLAY IN GLENDALE FOR THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP....THEY ARE BOWL ELIGIBLE YOU KNOW.
