UTEP's Randy Culpepper couldn't miss. The diminutive dynamo scored 45 points going 9-of-12 from behind the three-point line as the Miners walloped East Carolina, 100-76. Pretty good night all around, as UTEP head coach Tony Barbee won his ninth straight conference game -- something no Don Haskins team ever did. It ties the school record set in the 1950's back in the Border Conference days.
Culpepper talked about the win...
As did Barbee...

God so loved the world…
That the world through Him might be saved.
The Light of God has come into the world and
As many as believed in the Light. Learned to
Walk in the Light as He is in the Light.
They have come into a knowledge of the truth.
And the Truth of God will set you free, to know
That God is Light.
If we say that we have fellowship with Him,(God)
And walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the Truth.
But if we walk in the Light as He is in the Light,
we have fellowship with one another and the Blood of Jesus Christ,
His Son cleanses us from all sin.

What a treat we all witnessed last night in the Don. And to think I was going to skip this game, because I figured it was going to be a blowout. Thanks for the show Randy.
That one goes in the memory bank forever. Just like Buckrams 250 yards against Houston last fall.
