UTEP head coach Mike Price reviewing the craziness of the Miners 38-12 win over New Mexico State, a game delayed by three hours by lightning, and previewing the coming craziness as UTEP heads to Austin for a Saturday afternoon tilt against the No. 2 Texas Longhorns. Along the way, Coach Price whips out a picture of a UTEP fan sitting all by his lonesome at Aggie Memorial Stadium. As Price puts it -- "...he sat out in the wet, in the rain, in aluminum metal bleachers while lightning was striking all around him..." The fan is longtime Miners booster and one of the "H"'s of H&H Carwash fame, Maynard Haddad.

UTEP has looked terrible in 3 of the 4 games played. Many mistakes, penalties, and no discipline. I am a coach, and when things do not go right, you set out to see what's wrong, and try to correct them. It is not apparent in the team. The plays with no passion. I have yet to see good hard college hits by the defense, and the offense. Well let's just say, they are pathetic. Hope we fix things, or bring back Gary Nord. He brought in talent, that Price benefitted from. He's at Purdue, give him a call, we need talent, and players that play hard.
