the big test
FIRST SIX WEEKS IS OVER FINALLY !!! This week has gone by even faster !! This is so great the 1st six weeks is finally over and all the test are too! Marching band is still the greatest we are almost done with the final movement then it gets harder. Marching is fun, but it’s almost competition time. Our First is in 1 week. I can’t wait because I know we are going to do great everyone always does there best so I know we'll win. The test that we had to do for the six weeks were pretty coo,l because we got to use are notes on almost every test I know I passed all of mine. I hope we don't have to take harder test. I really stink when it comes to studying. I wish I could be better at it, but I'm not. I know I'll get better at it later on when I am a junior because then the test are harder.

My six week tests were kind of easy. They were easy, because I had studied for all of them. Some of the questions were hard, so I had to give a really good guess on them. When I was taking the test, it seemed it was never going to end. I was starting to get nervous, because we had only 45 minutes in each class. The test that Ms. Peterson gave us was easy, because every night I read chapters 1 and 2 Of Mice and Men twice.

Wow what a week, my first experience of 6 weeks test and I hate them. I give my 6th week of high school a thumbs down, mainly because of 6 weeks tests. I was extremely bored all week. I did good on most of my test which is a plus, but the concept ruins everything especially because it was during homecoming. Nobody was focused, and the entire school was acting crazy, that did not help at all. It was a bad atmosphere for testing. |

I think some of my six weeks tests were easy, but some were challenging. I really had to but my thinking cap on. I really think I passed, because it was easy. I think journals are better to keep track of.

School this last week has been very easy and hard. Since that past week was the end of the 6 weeks, there has been no homework. All of the 6 weeks tests were this week I had a lot of studying to do. I have been studying up to 11 p.m. almost every night. Also, every test that I have had seemed easy because of all the studying. Hopefully, all the hard work or studying has paid off, and I get good grades on all of my tests. Carson

Life you may just look at it like a four letter word, but in reality everything you do or feel can revolve around it. Any choice good or bad can change it forever. You can risk it all or just play it safe. You can wonder what if and regret or forgive and forget. You can feel on top of the world one minute, and the next have it all fall to pieces. In a few seconds it could all flash before your eyes and before you know it you're knees praying to God for mercy. It can make you want to hug the person sitting next to you and give the kid near you a high five. It can make the butterflies inside go ' whoop whoop'. As if to say you’re on a roller coaster up down up down. It stinks but hey it’s normal. If everything were a pocket full of sunshine, I wouldn't be writing this. So whenever you want to complain just remember that someone else has it far worse than you.

On the weekend, my uncles came. It was really cool, because we went to an airplane show.
It was cool, because there were allot of different kinds of planes. Also there was a show of
planes doing stunts. And I got inside a tank from the ARMY.

Well it is hard taking 6 weeks tests in all your classes especially math. But if you study really hard I asure you that you will not fail . Mostly because you will know your material. Wednesday and Thursday were very tiring since those were the testing days, but I survived. And I hope not to fail any tests ever.

The six weeks tests are much harder than I expected. I studied forever, and yet when I hit the tests, one by one, it felt as if I had never studied. I sat there in my seat thinking, "Why can't I remember everything I am being tested on?" It came to me, at that exact moment, that all I needed to do was to relax! When I usually take big tests, I get very nervous and now I have found the cure! Most people, just like me, get nervous during tests. It happens sometimes; even though you know your subject very well, you just freeze. If I could give you any advice, I would say to study over a long period of time, and don't give yourself a heart attack before a major test. Know your materials until you feel very comfortable with them!

The six week tests were finally done Thursday!!! The worst two days of my entire high school life! I studied hard, and hopefully I passed all of them! I completely failed my Geometry test; I got a 50. I do believe that I passed all my other tests, and I think report cards are coming out soon. I have also found out that I have a C in Geometry! Gosh, I wish I had gotten a B at least because now my phone will be taken away! Only crossing my fingers and hoping that I pass the rest of my classes. Doing homework does help I'm off to do that!

Hey it’s Desiree again for this week was 6 weeks testing.Yay? Yes, I don't like testing. I hate it. It’s so boring. It makes me feel as if I am there and people are staring at me! I always have space outs in that particular tim.e I really don’t know but I do. Other than that I have had a swell week (did you notice my big words and yeah I know I rock) I chilled with my friend, and it was cool. I don’t want to have a three -hour story. I also keep hearing the song Dear Maria Count Me In by All time Low. They’re an awesome band. What’s that word? Oh yea I dedicate this song to all my readers that’s your song. Also I can play guitar hero Aerosmith now. Yay! Hey got to go so talk to you later thanks bye!

My six weeks tests stressed me out cause I had to study and go to sleep early so it was hard.
Especially baseball cause coach was pressuring us to do our best or we don’t play and he runs us like crazy.
Each day was the same bubble in and begin with a pencil so it was a standard procedure so each went by what made it go by faster was the themes of the days hah so I had a good week
Every day I studied to play ball like they say hard work beats talent.

Last week was six-weeks exams. Oh boy it was so tiring. My brain still hurts from thinking so much. I had 7 tests in two days. My stress is at an extreme high. I had to study a lot. Now that it’s over. I can finally relax. I wish tests didn't even exist. Instead of tests, we would have a party. That’s what the presidents should do. If a president did that, I would vote for him. At least it’s all over with. Thank you, God!

Well this week has been okay, except that we had to take 6 weeks tests in every class!!! I hate 6 week tests, because they are boring and that makes the class boring, too. I think the hardest test I took was the one in IPC with Mrs.Vaught. Her class is really hard!!! The easiest test I took was in algebra. My teacher told me I got a 106, because I also got the bonus questions correct. I was so happy!!!

During last week, we had the six weeks test. I was nervous. The good thing was that we had four one day and three the other day. I am very worried about my test results for third, fifth and seventh. Those are my worst classes, I always have trouble with those. English I never read the book, so I had to ask about it the day before the test. Math, I love math, but it has been a little hard this year. I hope I made a good grade! ICP all my life I have trouble understanding science! My teacher said I had a very good grade. She even said that she was impressed. Maybe I had a 100, I hope.

This week was somewhat off balance for me. We had homecoming for one, and we also had six weeks tests. The band students had a football game, parade, and pep rally to do all in one week. I am actually happy that I didn’t get to go to the homecoming parade (based on what I heard). I heard that the varsity football team was throwing candy and making fun of band members. I don’t really know why, but all I know is that our band director was mad. The homecoming dance wasn’t so bad. I actually had a little bit of fun .Well yea I have to go do my chores BYE!!!

Finally, the six weeks tests are over. The easiest six weeks test I had last week was my English tes,t because it wasn't fifty problems on a bunch of random stuff. It was about the book Of Mice and Men. I liked this test better, because we knew what to study, so we would be prepared for every answer. We even got to use our books for the test, so I'm sure that I passed it. Now I know I'll probably pass the next six weeks test in English.
Jake Zimmerman
The sixth week test to me was very easy depending on the class that it is based on. I had the most trouble with my foreign language class, because I am not accustomed to the language. Other classes, such as English or World Geography, on the other hand, were fairly easy. The worst part is that if you are in jeopardy with your grade, the test can either help you bring it up, or your grade could just go down the toilet.
Michael White
I don't like six weeks test. Six weeks test just cause you to stress. And if you don't pass it,
you know that it will be likely that you are going to fail the class. Also at the end of every six weeks we will have to take the six weeks. I might as
well get used to them after a while. So far I think I did good on all my tests.
Alexis Molina
My friends and I are going to make another video for Youtube -- a video about the matrix sometime this week. I shall be playing the character Neo. My friend will play Smith. I hope that we get a lot of views like the last ones we made a month ago.

Homecoming is probably the best week so far! This week has been a BLAST!! Since I am a member of freshman exec., we are suppoused to dress up for the days of the week. I dressed up as a medieval queen for our freshman exec. float!! All of us on exec kept tripping and falling on our float. It was so much fun , but painful. That's okay, though, the important thing is that we had fun.. The best part was throwing candy at the seniors!!!
Candie Herrera
Wow, this week has been extremely crazy. This week has been so busy because of the six week tests. Unfortunately, these tests are for all of your classes. So, I was freaking out over these tests and trying to study every second I had a chance. I was very happy all the studying really helped me in some of my classes. Unfortunately though, some classes I had no idea what the answer was. So I think that we shouldn't have six week tests.
Samantha Rago
Six week testing oh my God! They were so hard so much stuff I didn’t know. Well, on a good note I did pretty good, there wasn’t much of a change in my overall grade. The hardest test was World Geography. We not only had to memorize 50 vocabulary words we also had to explain them, it was so hard. I do have to say there were a couple of easy ones, Math and Marketing. Math was easy because it just sticks in my brain better than some of my other subjects, and Marketing we were able to use our notes. Thank heavens for small favors. This weekend was horrible because we lost our JV/Varsity baseball game to the Franklin Developmental team aka the 9th Grade team. The Freshmen team seriously it was embarrassing 7 errors! One good thing did happen in the game, a solo homer by my friend Richard. Richard's homerun put us on the score board with our only run. We lost 7 - 1. Well, as always I will talk to you more next week. Have a good one. |

This weekend was really fun. On Friday I saw my boyfriend and we went to the movies. The name of the movie that we watched was Nights in Rodanthe. Its was a really cute movie. I almost cried. Okay well that happened on Friday. Then on Saturday I had a softball game and my boyfriend went. We lost but I felt really good because my boyfriend was watching me play and throwing me kisses. The test from my classes were kind of hard. The ones that were hard were only world geography and chem/phycs. I just hope that I passed all my classes with good grades.

As I walked to my classroom, Mrs. Peterson started saying we had the 6 weeks test. Once I heard that, my heart started beating the fastest it could. I was so nervous I thought I had to calm down. When I started with the test it all changed my mind. I realize it was easy, every question it asked I knew the answer to it. Next thing I know I was done with it. I turned it in and everything, I knew I was going to ace that exam. There was nothing to worry about!
Paola Romero
The six weeks test was really hard! Some of the tests were easy, but of them were just plain hard. Some of my teachers just graded our notebooks for the six weeks test. All we did in those notebooks was journals about what we think on that subject. But, the easiest one was in English. We were tested on the book of mice and men. I hope we finish the book and the movie. I also hope they get rid of the six weeks test. If we fail the test, we fail the class even though we have a good grade in that class before the six weeks test. Six weeks test is too complicated!
Victoria Guerra
This week stunk .I can't even tell you how many six weeks tests we had. I mean, they were not hard, but it was just so tiring. The best thing that happened this week was beating Hanks in football. Although it was close, it was fun. Well high school is getting better. I know all my teachers, and I'm not getting lost in the school anymore.

Recently, I've been under so much stress its almost unbearable! Every morning I wake up to the same routine; wake up at six, get ready, go to school, get through my classes, go to dance, get home around seven, eat, do homework, go to bed. Its endless and its driving me crazy! So much has been going on at home that it doesn't help. Like how my dad is constantly nagging me how he doesn't like this or that about my life and things I like. I'm never what he wants and then my older sister is stressing about college so much that everyone is hysterical. Only if things would calm down and just let me have a moment of peace. I would enjoy it so much.

How do I stay active? I play volleyball. I'm on the freshman Coronado Franklin

My thoughts on the six weeks test are that its difficulty was on the middle ground. Its length was what made it difficult. It was of course boring like all other tests. This week so far as in today and by today I mean right now as I write this my mom is giving me problems yelling at me about not doing my homework right after I get home from school I believe that after school a 2-4 hour bread is a good idea. It will stop my brain from overloading. It’s not like my homework is a time bomb in need of being defused. I’m doing it right. What does it mater if I do it at four or at eight I still do it, and I still wake up at seven in the morning and go to school.

Hey, well I got nothing bad to say about six weeks test. I think there prety easy and in the end of the day they actually help my grade not that i need it
