The Killers' May 6 show went on sale Feb. 3. It sold out that day, too.
Not bad for a town notorious for waiting until the last minute to buy tickets.
I don't know if more tickets will be released for the Killers' show, in support of new album "Battle Born," but I suspect at least a few will go on sale down the line.
Meanwhile, Morrissey's Feb. 12 show at Tricky Falls sold out today.
The show originally was scheduled for Nov. 27 , but was postponed along with several others so he could fly back to England to attend to his ailing mother.
Moz was only a few weeks into his makeup date tour when he was hospitalized in suburban Detroit last month for what later was revealed as treatment for a concussion, bleeding ulcer and Barrett's esophagus, which affects the lining.
He had hoped to restart Feb. 9 in Las Vegas, but announced Feb. 4 that the Vegas show and a Feb. 10 one in Phoenix had been postponed.
His tour will resume with the Tricky Falls show and run through March 14.
