Phillip Phillips, the guy who won "American Idol" last season, is coming to NMSU's Pan Am Center at 7:30 p.m. March 29.
The middle-of-the-road acoustic pop singer has done pretty well for himself since taking the Season 11 crown. His debut album, "The World From the Other Side of the Moon," came out in November, charted at No. 4 in its first week of availability and has since surpassed the 500,000 sales mark.
His triple platinum hit song "Home" was adopted by last year's U.S. Olympic Women's Gymnastics squad, and been associated more recently with Superstorm Sandy relief efforts.
Alt-rockers Churchill will open.
Tickets are $18.50 and $28.50, plus service charges, on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 14 at the box office, Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and 800.745.3000.
