In case you missed it, Green Day will warm up for its debut appearance at this year's SXSW with a rare club show March 13 at Tricky Falls.
Tickets are $51, on sale at 10 a.m. March 1 at holdmyticket.com.
There's a two-ticket limit.
The person who purchases the tickets must show up to claim them. The buyer, and their guest, will be given a wrist band the night of the show. The band allows admission to the venue.
A line will start forming before doors open at 6:30 p.m.
The show will start at 8:30 p.m. with a warmup act to be announced.
The show is believed to be one of up to three club dates the post-punk rockers are expected to make before their SXSW show on March 15. The band will premiere two new documentaries that day, "Broadway Idiot," about the Broadway musical version of their Grammy-winning "American Idiot" album, and "Cuatro!," about the making of last year's "Uno!," "Dos!" and "Tre!" albums.
The shows will be their first since singer-guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong went into treatment last fall for substance abuse. The band, which includes bassist Mike Dirnt and drummer Tre Cool, was forced to postpone a Voodoo Music Experience show in October and tour dates from November through February.
Their arena tour will resume March 28 in Chicago.
