Ah, another advantage of having Fort Bliss here.
Turns out comic book writer Justin Jordan, creator of "The Strange Talent of Luther Strode" and writer of DC Comics' "Team 7," has a buddy stationed there.
He's coming to town next week to visit his friend, and, while he's at it, has agreed to do a book signing and photo session from 4-6 p.m. Feb. 20 at All Stars Comics and Games, 4406 Dyer, near the post.
Jordan also has written for DC's current "Deathstroke," and is now writing its "Superboy" series. He also wrote for Valiant's rejuvenated "Shadowman" and his own "The Legend of Luther Strode."
His appearance here is free.
