El Paso actor Kathryn Smith-McGlynn will appear in a couple of epsidoes of ABC Family's teen drama "The Lying Game."
She plays a therapist, Dr. Eileen Sandy, in episodes airing at 7 p.m. local time Jan. 15 and 29.
Smith-McGlynn filmed her appearances last fall in Austin.
Smith-McGlynn is co-founder and artistic director of El Paso's new Actors Equity theater group, the Frontera Repertory Theatre Company, and directed its first production, "ReEntry," last fall.
