Sherlock Holmes has been by the white stuff — and I'm not talking about his cocaine habit.
The lingering effects of Thursday's snow storm has forced the El Paso Playhouse to cancel tonight's opening performance of "Sherlock Holmes and the First English Gentleman."
"Due to adverse weather conditions and our concern for the safety of our patrons and volunteers the El Paso Playhouse has decided to postpone the opening night production ...," reads a statement from the nonprofit theater group.
The play, directed by Frieda Voeks, is schedule to open instead at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at the theater, 2501 Montana.
It will be performed at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays through Jan. 26.
