Concert update: Tommy Chong heading to Cruces

Local audiences last saw funnyman Tommy Chong when he performed here with his old comedy partner Cheech Marin.

That was about three years ago.

Chong will be flying solo when he performs at 9 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Las Cruces Civic Center.

Wife Shelby will open the show.

Tickets are $30 GA, $45 VIP (tables of 10 are going for $450), on sale at Pic Quik stores and showclix.com.
