Gallery 127 is a new club that opened recently at 11675 Montwood (Suite A-2).
Good thing, since the owners of House of Rock were locked out by the building's owners, presumably for owing rent.
Pony Productions' Phil Candelaria is routing some shows through the new space, including a March 15 stop by poppy French hardcore band Chunk! No, Captain Chunk.
It's a 6 p.m. show, with opening sets from Handguns, Statechamps, City Lights, Set Us On High and Gentlemen.
Tickets are $12, on sale at Ticketbully.
Pony's got two other shows heading there.
Upon a Burning Body, which will be part of this year's Warped tour lineup headed to NMSU on June 26, will headline the new place at 6 p.m. Feb. 12.
All That Bleeds, Infinite in Azimuth and Defying Deceiver also are on the bill.
Tickets: $12 at Ticketbully.
Also, Stick to Your Guns heads a lengthy bill playing G127 at 6 p.m. March 11.
Also performing: Stray From the Path, Rotting Out, Barbarian, Tyrant and This Is a Calling.
Those tickets are 12 bucks, too, also at Ticketbully.
In other concert news:
• Country comedian (and Texas native) Rodney Carrington performs at 8 p.m. March 15 at the Inn of the Mountain Gods.
Those tickets are $25, $40, $60, $75 and $90, plus service charges, on sale at the box office, Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and 800.745.3000.
The casino also has booked Motown legend Smokey Robinson for May 23.
It also looks like they've picked up an April 12 date from Brantley Gilbert's "Hell on Wheels" tour with Kip Moore, plus an April 26 show by Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan, Los Lonely Boys on May 4 and Dokken and Quiet Riot on June 8.
Ticket details for those shows have not been announced.
