It's bad enough that my Detroit Tigers got swept in the World Series — and looked like kitties in the process — and that someone stole my headphones from work over the weekend.
But a bad weekend got worse when Morrissey had to postpone the 26 remaining shows on his fall tour, including a Nov. 27 stop at Tricky Falls, due to his mother Elizabeth Dwyer's illness. He reportedly returned to England to be with her.
The postponement was posted on the club's website. "Please hold on to your tickets: Future date unknown," reads the posting.
A spokesperson for one promoter, Goldenvoice, told the Los Angeles Times that new dates will be announced shortly.
Tickets purchased the for the show will be honored on the new date. No refund information has been announced yet.
