It looks like Trans-Siberian Orchestra, which has been performing here at least once a year dating back to 2001, will skip us on their next winter tour.
The rock 'n' roll orchestra posted dates for its Nov. 15-Dec. 30 winter and there's no El Paso or Las Cruces show on the itinerary.
Too bad for fans. The band is rolling out its "The Lost Christmas Eve," which will be performed as a rock opera, for this tour.
This might just be good business on their part. TSO has played this area a bunch in recent years, either in the warm weather months with its non-holiday tour, or the Christmas-themed winter tour. This could be a move to avoid consumer fatigue. Maybe TSO will return next winter.
