A slimmed-down Carlos Mencia will return to Bart Reed's Comic Strip for four shows Oct. 26-27.
The former "Mind of Mencia" star is making a regular thing out of this. He was there last year, too.
Performances will be at 8:30 and 10:45 p.m. each day.
Tickets aren't on sale yet, but keep an eye on the club's site, laff2nite.com, or ticketweb.com for prices and on-sale info.

In other concert news:
• Italian DJ and producer Benny Benassi will bring his "Rough Road Bus Tour" to Buchanan's at 9 p.m. Oct. 24.
It's part of a 16-city North American tour that will start with seven straight shows in the Lone Star State, opening Oct. 17 in Austin.
He'll be joined in El Paso by fellow Italian DJ Congorock and new Ultra Music act Punk is Pink, who feature Benassi on their new single "Perfect Storm." Local DJ Sebern will open.
Tickets range from $25 to $45, but are not on sale yet. They'll be available at the Happy House, the Headstand and eventbrite.com.
• Oklahoma rockers Hinder probably know a thing or two about barbecue, a good thing since they'll play the Budweiser Main Stage at the 27th annual KLAQ BBQ on Sept. 2 at Western Playland.
The messy munch out is from 2-10 p.m.
Tickets are $12.95, on sale at 7-Eleven/Alon stores in EP and Pic Quiks in LC. They'll be $16.70, plus tax, at the door.
