There was a time when Tom Russell performed around here at least once a year.
He hasn't played a show in his adopted hometown since 2005, and his last area appearance was Nov. 7, 2009 at Las Cruces' Rio Grande Theatre.
That'll change April 21 when Russell, touting excellent new album "Mesabi," performs at the historic Scottish Rite Temple Theatre.
Tickets are on sale yet, but they'll go for $22 in advance, $25 at the door. All That Music & Video will be an outlet.
