Hard rockers Buckcherry will headline an impressive bill at 8 p.m. July 20 at Club 101, about two weeks before new album "All Night Long" comes out., whose new album "All Night
They'll be joined by Filter, Nothing More and Atom Smash.
Tickets are $36 and went on sale today at the club, All That Music & Video and Ticketbully.
You observant readers out there may have noticed a bit of a traffic jam at the club that day.
That's also the day the Summer Slaughter tour, which features death metal tour featuring Decapitated and nine other bands, is supposed to be there.
It's supposed to start at 4 p.m.
Both are posted on the Ticketbully site.
Club 101 co-owner Joe Dorgan said that efforts are being made to move the Summer Slaughter tour to a different venue, though it's possible it'll be canceled. Advance ticket sales for the show are low, he said, adding that death metal shows tend to sell slowly in advance.

Buckcherry, btw, just released a reworked version of their song "Our World" on iTunes. Proceeds will go toward charitable groups battling the oil spill.
In other concert news:
• Obviously, tickets for the Coheed and Cambria/Porcupine Tree show at Club 101 didn't go on sale today, as was originally announced by their PR people.
They're going on sale tomorrow — Saturday, June 26.
Tickets for the Aug. 17 show are $26 in advance, $30 day of show. They go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at the club, All That Music & Video and Ticketbully.
• Radio La Chusma has put together a pretty intriguing show July 10 at Bombardiers.
They'll be joined by Wisconsin reggae band (I know, the words just don't go together, do they?) T.U.G.G., the New Texicans and DJ SystemAddict.
It'll be at 9:30 p.m.
Admission is $7 at the door.
• Speaking of reggae, Border Roots frontman Mark Alvarado will discuss "The History of Reggae Music" in the opening installment of the third annual Lunch Time Stories at the Park series on July 8.
The informal series features local newsmakers, media types (I spoke during the first year) and others who discuss various projects or issues and take questions from the folks who gather around.
It's free and from noon-1 p.m. Thursdays in the San Jacinto Plaza downtown.
Adrian Madrigal, public info officer for the El Paso office of the United States Small Business Administration, says KVIA anchor Estela Casas will discuss her battle with thyroid cancer on July 15.
The series runs through Oct. 28.
It's a cooperative venture between the SBA and the El Paso Parks and Recreation Department.
• Director Yvonne Marmolejo and the El Paso Choral Society Young Ladies Choir will tune up for their trip to the Vatican with a concert at 7:30 p.m. July 2 at Trinity-First United Methodist Church, 801 N. Mesa.
The group, which was featured last year on NPR's "From the Top" show, will perform in Italy from July 6-15. The tour will include a performance at the Vatican in Rome.

• Michael David, the former El Paso country singer now based in Nashville, is coming home. David will perform Aug. 13 at D's Horseshoe, 5354 Doniphan.

• Mozart Season, the Sacramento post-hardcore band that just signed to Equal Vision, is listing a July 29 show at Life Church on their itinerary.
