I have erred, dear reader. I was remiss in posting Thursday the info about the Warped presale, which started this morning.
Sorry. Sorry. I have a busy job. I have a life. I had to help recruit kids for Texas Tech last night. What can I say? I can't blog all the time! Or can I?
Hmmm.
Anyways, to quote Nacho Libre, the presale for the tour's June 30 stop at NMSU offers a reduced ticket price ($20.24, plus $3.50 service charge), comes with a 3D laminate ticket/pass, which allows you to get in early, and a comp CD from this year's 16th annual tour.
You can only get them at warpedtour.com, a site set up specially for the presale.
I don't know when the presale ends. Usually, they end when the allotted tickets sell out of, if they don't sell out, the day before the public on sale, which, in this case is April 9.
Tickets will go for $33 in advance, $35 day of show, same as last year.

In other concert news:
• KLAQ jefe Brad Dubow offered an update on the Q's 25th annual Memorial Day weekend Balloon Fest. He says Saving Abel will headline the opening night on May 29, followed by Powerman 5000 and Veer Union on May 30 and Chevelle (who wrote a song about Roswell on their new album) on May 31.
More bands, mostly locals, will be announced later.
• Talked to the nice lady who books the free concerts series for all the County Line/State Line restaurants in Tejas. She says our State Line series will open April 21. Cory Morrow is firm for May 26, Del Castillo's back on July 23 and Texas Renegade on July 14. The series will be announced in a week or two.
• Speaking of Pollstar, it's listing a June 20 Zen-Meister stop by former Guns N' Roses/Heart guitarist Gilby Clarke.
It's also got the very cool Hot Club of Cowtown playing this summer's free Music Under the Stars series on Aug. 1 at the Chamizal. We should be getting that series announcement soon, too.

thanks for the update on the Warped Tour. My lil bro's gonna go crazy when I tell him I already got his tickets.
