Texas native and jazzy-pop chanteuse Norah Jones has announced the itinerary for a winter-spring tour in support of her new album "The Fall," and El Paso's Plaza Theatre is penciled in for an April 29 show.
Tickets won't go on sale until March 12. So pay off those Christmas credit card charges early!
No ticket prices yet, but tickets for a trio of shows going on sale Friday, Dec. 4 ranged from $42.50 to $60, depending on the market and venue.
The 36-city tour kicks off March 5.
"The Fall" is the fourth and most ambitious album for the breezy singer-songwriter, who worked with newer, edgier collaborators, such as Ryan Adams and Okkervill River's Will Sheff.
On Tuesday, Dec. 1, she'll begin releasing three remixes of two new songs on three different Web sites. They are:
Tuesday: "That's What I Said (The NYC Remix by Adrock and Mike D)" of the Beasties Boys at rcrdbl.com.
Wednesday: "Chasing Pirates (Santigold and Snotty remix)" on stereogum.com.
Thursday: "Chasing Pirates (Droogs Remix)," by a collective that includes Beck, on artistdirect.com.
I know a lot of people dismiss her as too light and airy, but she's quite good in concert, and always backs herself with solid musicians.

Finally!!!!
