"Star Wars" fans will get two chances to venture to George Lucas' galaxy far, far away. A second showing of the 1977 landmark sci-fi film has been added to the Plaza Classic Film Festival schedule, according to festival director Eric Pearson.
It will be at 10 p.m. Aug. 12 at the Plaza Theatre. The first show will be at 6 that night.
The first show is not sold out, Pearson said, but "due to anticipated demand," festival organizers decided to roll over a second screening.
Tickets are $8, on sale at the Plaza Theatre box office, Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and 800.745.3000.
The festival has lined up about 70 films this year and will run Aug. 6-16 at the Plaza, Philanthropy Theatre, Arts Festival Plaza and Camino Real Dome Bar.
is it the original 77 version or the reproduced version they did in the 90s?

It's an original '77 print, no Lucas revisions.
