SMG Events, the show's promoter, is also bringing Deadmau5 back as part of an extensive North American tour to promote the Canadian's new album, "For Lack of a Better Name," due Sept. 22.
The show will be Sept. 6 at Club 101. No ticket info yet.

•They're having a Summer Explosion on July 17 in Las Cruces. Frankie J, Mr. Capone-E and Big Gemini will perform, along with Silver City rapper (bet you never thought you'd see those words together) Kilo Brown. It's at 6 p.m. at the Beverly Hills Nightclub, 150 N. Hermosa. Tickets are $25 in advance, $35 at the door, on sale at Pik Quik stores in Las Cruces.
•Austin electronica duo Gobi — former El Pasoans Phil Arciniega and Justin Dillon — will be coming home for a July 31 show at Zeppelin's Pub. It's a 9 p.m.s how. They'll be joined by Antigone and Enferma.
• Tucson's Tryst, who describe their music as "desert funk/soul," play the Percolator at 8:30 p.m. July 18. They'll be joined by Jayden's Playground and Juarez's Acid Pie. It's a $3 cover at the door.
• Jazz-rock instrumentalist Dan Lambert plays his regular Thursday gig at the Magic Pan from 6-9 p.m. this week, followed by a 6-9 p.m. stint at Ripe on July 17, Mesa Street Grill from 8-midnight July 18 and the Coronado Country Club from 5:30-8 p.m. July 19.
• Jazz man and filmmaker Billy Townes takes his piano at Club Freelons, 8500 Dyer, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 19. Cost is $8. Call 219.1549.
• Local rockers Promise Coalition open for Austin's Set Aflame at 9 p.m. July 15 at Chic's and play a fundraiser for Sheriff Richard Wiles at 4 p.m. Aug. 22 at the Three Legged Monkey.
