The El Dorado Aztecs picked up a huge win on Friday night in the Class 5A bi-district football playoffs with a dramatic 34-33 win against Odessa Permian in Lubbock. The Aztecs rushed for more the 450 yards and got solid showings from LeDerrick Wilson, Dominique White and Cade Terrazs, all of whom had more than 100 yards rushing The Aztecs trailed 27-17 in the second half but weathered the storm and rallied for one of the biggest wins in school history.
It was a good win for a program that had some tough losses this year. You have to give the 7-4 Aztecs credit for staying with it and not losing confidence this season. El Dorado will face Southlake Carroll next Saturday in Midland.
