In the first event of the day with an El Paso athlete, Austin's Isaac Spencer finished eighth in the 4A boys 3,200 meter run with a time of 9:50.93. He will also run 1,600 later today.
We are experiencing a rain delay here at the track meet. We will update you as soon as we have word of a restart.
The next El Paso athlete competing will be Irvin's Miguel Edwards in the 4A boys long jump. He is coming in with the best qualifying mark of 23 feet, 10 inches.
