Costumed canines charmed hundreds and hundreds of attendees of the sixth annual Dog Lover's Fair and Dog Adoption Extravaganza at El Paso Saddleblanket recently. The event was held Oct. 13 to celebrate man's best friend and to assist agencies in placing dogs in loving homes. Among the agencies whose works were highlighted were the Humane Society, Animal Rescue League, Action Programs for Animals, Animal Service Center of the Mesilla Valley, Grand Companions Humane Society, Great Dane Rescue, Pet Guardian Angel, Pets Alive, Southwest Collie REscue, Standard Poodle Rescue and Golden Retriever Rescue.
