Bel Air's Courtney Dominguez made an over-the-shoulder save of a shot against Franklin Saturday March 4 at the Cougar's field. Dominguez, who was the District 1-5A Midfield Player of the Year last year as a junior, was filling in at goalie. Dominguez had 18 saves, but Franklin won 5-0.
  

Comfort at the Scene

A young woman was comforted by a young man following a traffic accident in which her car rolled over along the East bound lanes of N. Mesa near the intersection with Festival Thursday, March 1. According to police, the woman was driving the white Buick West bound when her car was clipped by a black pickup truck that pulled out of a parking lot driveway. No one was injured in the accident. The driver of the pickup was cited for failure to yield right of way, the officer said. The accident and investigation narrowed East-bound traffic on N. Mesa to a single lane.
