"Magical Pen" Poetry Exposition

As you know April is the month we celebrate poetry. The 2nd Annual Magical Pen Poetry Exposition is now taking place.

Students from 4th to 12th grade may enter. Parents and teachers don't let this opportunity pass your child/student.

Deadline is Monday, April 21, 2008 submit entries to the El Paso Times. Winners will be published on Sunday, April 27, 2008.

"All in Good Time" is a 9 chapter serial story that will run for 9 weeks on the El Paso Times Sunday edition. The bonus to this serial story is that you can get curriculum to go along with it for the next two months.

Newspapers across the country are using it with their local schools and have had excellent participations. 

Call me now and order your Sunday edition to be delivered on Mondays.

46th El Paso Times Spelling Bee

On March 13th and 14th the El Paso Times will have the annual Spelling Bee event at the Chamizal National Memorial Theatre.

Over 145 students from El Paso, West Texas, and New Mexico will compete for the top speller to represent El Paso at the National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C. in late May.
