Can you say disingenuous? Federal lands do create income for states, in many ways. People can graze cows, log, drill, ski, hunt, and do many other things on Federal land now. Besides, the states have never owned a lot of it. We don't need another Sagebrush Rebellion!

Oh yeah Congressman, these comments really help those that have lost their jobs and been forced to go on unemployment for the first time in their life to support conservatives. You really think someone would prefer $1,000 a month unemployment to $80 a year?
Pearce does not live in the real world. In order to get a job as a truckdriver, it is a months long process, that requires the applicant to spend a large amount of money they don't have on drivers school and getting a CDL license. And as it turns out the promises in the ads for $80k are phony. Instead of talking, he needs to be acting to make it easier and affordable for people to get those licenses and schooling.
