For the second time this year, UTEP is facing a defense that bases out of the 3-4 (three linemen, four linebackers) and that involves some different ways to attack.
"It's preparing for three-down linemen front," quarterback Nick Lamaison said. "At times we've done that, SMU does it, so we've got to prepare for four-down and three-down (linemen) fronts. When you do that you have to stay sharp and crisp on everything we do.
"We're not trying to overload the offense this week."
Does this mean UTEP is going to run more and not keep throwing up bombs when other receivers are open?

Tulsa is favored by 13 1/2. That is manageable. We have upset some good teams in the Sun Bowl. I hope Saturday is one of those games. Good luck.
