Typically, the defense spends the first 40 minutes of a Thursday practice at Glory Field before walking across the parking lot to join the offense at the Sun Bowl, but for the first time this year UTEP did not split its Thursday practice.
"I wanted them all together, to be with each other and enjoy each other," Price said.
The offense usually uses the entire field for one 10-minute stretch where it works on its top 10 plays of the week, but contained to half the field while the defense was using the other half, the offense split those 10 plays into two separate five-minute periods that only used half the field.
I would love to see UTEP get in a bowl game this year. They only need to win 2 more games. With East Carolina, Tulsa and UCF left on their schedule it is possible. I just bought my Outback Bowl tickets a little earlier today. I can't wait until December gets here. Go UTEP!
