Positive stories about Ciudad Juárez are the exception and not the rule these days.
In the bloody accounts of daily killings, we are not paying enough attention to what many non-profit organizations and private and social groups are doing to make a difference in the lives of the citizens of Juárez, and especially in children’s lives.
When listening to one of these stories, it’s impossible not to admire the courage and dedication of the people who are fighting to rescue the city from organized crime and to recover its soul.
A local radio reporter from NPR, Monica Ortiz Uribe, found this interesting story that I want to share with you. Listen it and enjoy it.
