As expected, those of us who watch local news broadcasts are seeing a slew of new anchors and reporters these days following the exodus of TV folk we've grown accustomed to watching over the years.
One of the newest faces is Amber Downing, KTSM's new morning anchor and reporter. The Allen, Texas, native comes to El Paso from KFDM News in Beaumont, Texas. She earned her degree in broadcast journalism from the University of North Texas.
KTSM's former morning anchor Kai Porter is now anchoring the weekend news broadcasts for the station.

She needs A LOT of work, Kai was better in the mornings.

KTSM should get that sexy hunk of man meat - KVIA's Raul Martinez to tutor her and show her the ways of anchoring. Then she'd get amazing almost instantaneously.

The hunk that should be showing her the ropes should be Phillip Mena.

Total agreement with Alexandra Castro.
Mena is not only the best looking, he does a really good job at the anchor desk. Really personable.

New weather anchor cool. A little excited and maybe nervous but he looks like someone who likes his job and we need more of that. I hope you keep him and reassure him.
