JT

Las Cruces' gain is El Paso's loss. KFOX is still the leader in stupid moves by letting her go, but what do you expect from them. Good luck Noreen.

USAmerica1st

I agree. Noreen has been a hard-working, superb anchor-lady ever since her days at Channel 4 long ago. She hit her stride at Fox on the AM show. She'll do okay, but you're right, she'll be missed in EP.

Noreen Jaramillo gave a recent interview few months back on the KLAQ Morning Show. She explained everything of why she left KFOX. She left for family and her newborns, she got tired of waking up at 3am (2hrs before the morning cast) to prepare for KFOX Morning News. She said she still loves Elizabeth O'Hara and everybody who works there etc. It was a great interview and she said she wanted to do radio in Las Cruces and now she has got her gig.

So to "JT", you're a moron.

what??

awwww poor AA, i have some land in juarez i wanna sell to you. no doubt, she was tired of getting up at 3am, and maybe she does want to do radio too. but everything else she said was the PC thing to say. have you ever heard of "don't burn your bridges"? IF it was her decision, how come those of us AT the station, saw that she was scrutinized by HR and the news director as she packed her things up the last day, and ESCORTED from the property. i don't know exactly what happened, but she and o'hara were at one time best of friends, and noreen was largely responsible for o'hara being hired by bennallack around 12 years ago. both are fine ladies, but something went terribly wrong there, and it was an unfortunate ending. good luck to noreen, those of us that worked with you wish you nothing but the best.

Hey "what??", I'm sure that land in Mexico would be useful for you to build a grammar school for your sh!t education.

what??

really? that's all you've got to say? why don't all you non-media people go away until you can get your facts straight. jt worked in the business for years and knows what he is talking about, as do i, some one who has known noreen and liz for well over a decade.

Aggie

AA you have NO IDEA what you are taking about, why even bother!? Noreen knew she wanted to leave KFOX because of poor management on so many levels, but she has been very professional and "PC" about the split. Noreen is actually the public information officer at New Mexico Department of Agriculture, a great job that she loves and that she applied for before she even left KFOX. This radio gig is side contract work that fell in her lap because the folks over at Bravomic saw the value in her experience and connection with the community - unlike KFOX! Congrats girl!!!

StandBy

Whole heartedly agree with you Aggie, Noreen is a class-act on and off the air. KFOX was already a sinking ship when Noreen left and it continues to flounder under horrific management. They have some really talented people that will soon take off because of the blatant abuse of management. Too bad.

I hope Hema Mullur and Dena Richardson never leave.

I think 'what?" is right on about not 'burning bridges'. Noreen gets an "A"+ in that area for those of us who remember her departure from Fox to the San Francisco area station for about a year, and suddenly she returned and went right back on the Fox morning show. And you can tell, many of us would welcome her back in a heartbeat to El Paso TV. No offense to Las Cruces-born Stephanie Guardian (sp?) whom I think is great and has worked in Phoenix, Houston, and San Francisco. How about both of them in the Fox A.M. one day? I'm in!!!
