Nichole Gomez, the weather forecaster and reporter at KTSM-KDBC (the so-called Channel 49) has left the station. Sources say she left earlier this week. No reason for her departure was given.
This is the second high-profile on-air departure for the station. Reporter Erik Finke was let go earlier this fall after being in El Paso for only weeks.

Do they knw how to spell 'diversity', the spice of entertainment and information?
Their loss of a talented and super personality.
Vaya con Dios, hasta la vista, Nichole

Wow this is terrible news I will no longer watch ch. 9 or 4 she was the reason I tuned in. You are probably better off anyway Nichole that station is like watching a train wreck. Good Luck and God Bless you, you will be terribly missed.

Who is responsible for her firing? I wonder?

Nichole is one of the nicest people ever! She proved herself time and time again. Her future surely is brighter now that it ever has been. It would be great to see her turn up on a different station soon!

Nichole's gone? I haven't had much time to watch the news lately but this makes me sad. That's fine though, she's gorgeous, talented and cool as hell. She won't be unemployed for long. Good luck, Nichole!

I can tell you one thing for sure. She wasn't fired.

She had the greatest booty on El Paso News television history. Very sad to see her go, hopefully shes moving on to bigger and better things for her career.

whoever said she was fired? no one. that place is a disaster. the next person to leave should be their main anchor. she is deplorable.

THE BEST BOOTY I will contest to that I tell you that body is the main thing I will miss about her forecast. Luckily she goes to the UTEP basketball games I will just stare at her there. You will be missed gorgeous!

I tuned in yesterday to see if she was there and sure enough she was gone. I watched her grow and she improved more and more each day. Very sweet beautiful girl and my kids love her. They have a picture in there room with her that she took at a concert. My family is not happy about this one. Hope she gets another job here in town. We love you Nichole and hope to see you soon.

KTSM Managment are idiots for letting her go but the station is a mess just watch it, weel your best bet is not to tune in. Have you seen the Anchor on ch. 4 on the weekends she is awful. you'll be missed Nichole.

Nichole is a beautiful talented woman who will do well. KTSM was just too negative of a place for her. I too agree Alexa Helms is a terrible anchor & meeting her in person just gave me a lower opinion of the girl. Very un-classy & rude. Best of luck to Nichole!

A HUGE loss for KDBC. Such a talented, beautiful, and highly competent TV personality. She will be missed. Another name to add to a loooong list of reporters/weather personalities that left KDBC. That station has never been competitive since the days of anchors Raymond Mesa and Suzanne Michaels with Jim Gamble the weatherman. That's been a long drought for KDBC. Good fortune to you, Nichole. Where ever you land they will be better for having you on their roster.

I just got back in town and I found out two horrible things. I found out that she is no longer on-air and that my future wife is engaged to super star Randy Culpepper. I guess I have no shot for sure now lol. Good Luck Nichole you are truly missed by the James family.
