Be Kind Rewind

It's a film by Michel Gondry, the man who brilliantly directed Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Science of Sleep, a film I absolutely loved last year with Gael Garcia Bernal and surprisingly Dave Chappelle's Block Party.  He brings the most unusually creative story ever to the screen and who better to pull off the unusual than Jack Black.

Jack works in a video store and uh oh, his brain becomes somewhat of a magnet and all of the videos in the store are erased.. How do you save the day and keep the same elderly customer engrossed in the best movies around? You just make the films yourself.

The film is whimsical and no one explores the making of the mind better than Gondry. Jack Black is perfect for the role and who better to act out such films as Driving Miss Daisy, 2001 A Space Odyssey and clearly, his version of Rush Hour 2, much better than the original.

Some people think the likes of Jack Black is just annoying. I think he is perfect actor for this kind of a film. A good supporting cast including Mia Farrow and Mos Def completes the film. Give it a try, this kind of imagination and illusion cannot go unnoticed.
