Your friendly local _ kinda _ Obama campaign office

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's Democratic presidential campaign opened 16 offices in New Mexico over the weekend.
Two of them are just down the road apiece from El Paso. There's one in Anthony and one in Las Cruces.
But, not to worry those of you who don't want to leave the Sun City to get your Obama t-shirt, yard sign, bumper sticker or other assorted paraphernalia.
Shannon Gilson, an Obama campaign spokeswoman, said Texas offices will be opening soon.
And I have heard from an El Paso source close to the campaign that there will be an Obama kick-off event in the Sun City as early as this weekend.
Anyone have more details to share?
