As an occasional reader of Men's Health magazine (There are some good recipes in there. The photos are just a perk.) and a political junkie, this e-mail from the mag's PR director caught my attention:
I just wanted to let you know that Men's Fitness Annual 25 Fittest Guys in America issue hits newsstand on Monday, May 19th.
For the First time ever we have name (sic) THE Fittest Guy in America...Tiger Woods!
Also on the list: BARACK OBAMA!!!
We have acknowledged him for his stamina, his dedication to staying fit every morning, quitting smoking and much more.
No word on whether there will be photos of the candidate's ripped abs in the issue. Now, of course, I'm going to have to purchase it to find out.
I wonder whether Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton will be on the Women's Health magazine list.
Though, according to this ABC story, her campaign diet might not get her many kudos from the health conscious.

So this is the female equivalent to "I just read Playboy for the articles." ;-)

On top of setting a good example of physical fitness, Acropolis Review has a summary of some good reasons why Obama will probably do well in Oregon tonight:
