Money keeps flowing to Republicans in District 78

In the last two days, state Rep. Pat Haggerty and Republican challenger Dee Margo have reported collecting nearly $70,000.
This close to the election, the candidates have to file a report every day that they receive more than $1,000 from one contributor.
Haggerty reported $48,500 in contributions Monday and Tuesday. The largest single contribution, of $20,000, was from beer and wine distributor group, BG Distribution Partners PAC. He also got $6,500 from his Republican House colleagues, state Reps. Charlie Geren, of Fort Worth, Gary Elkins, of Houston, Todd Smith, of Euless, and Edmund Kuempel, of Seguin.
Margo reported $21,000 yesterday in contributions. He got $10,000 from Texans for Rick Perry, another $10,000 from Houston home builder Bob Perry (not related to the governor) and $1,000 from El Pasoan John Verlander.
