An astute blogger pointed out that the votes that drove La Casa Rosada into the winner's circle came after the Dec. 7, 11:59 deadline.
After checking all the times, I realized Tillzen was indeed correct. In the spirit of Democracy and out of fear of developing a Florida-style-elections reputation, I have re-evaluated the outcome of this election.
Only three votes came in before the deadline: two for Vaqueros & Wonkeros, one for La Casa Rosada.
So, Ali, while the last-ditch effort was notable, I'm afraid Tillzen was correct.
The rightful winner is Tillzen, and the new blog name will be Vaqueros & Wonkeros.
