Zetas 'snatched' body of a fellow member before, Grayson recounts

The Zetas cartel was involved in a previous body-snatching incident, according to expert George W. Grayson, co-author of the 2012 book about the Zetas "The Executioner's Men" (Transaction Press). It's not known if the Zetas took Lazcano's body from the funeral home.
Grayson said Joaquin "Chapo" Guzman had deployed his Nueva Generacion shock troops from the state of Jalisco to beef up the Gulf drug cartel. The Zetas is a group that broke away from the Gulf cartel after serving as enforcers for that drug organization. Recently, Guzman's group formed a loose alliance with the Gulf cartel to battle the Zetas.
"Los Zetas maintain a formidable presence in Monterrey, which is the gateway to Nuevo Laredo," Grayson said. "I expect violence to escalate in Monterrey as a result of the alleged take-down of El Lazca." Other experts, Robert Bunker and John Sullivan, provided insights on how Lazcano's death could affect activities of drug cartels in the Juarez, Chihuahua, region. Chapo Guzman's group has waged a bloody battle for the Juarez-El Paso corridor over the past four years, leaving in its wake about 11,000 dead.

i think that more should be done about the drugs and the cartell. everybody should be doing everything in their power to try and stop all the violence. this could have all been avoided somehow im sure. the body-snatching incident was just another thing added to the horrible things these people have done. i wish we could find a solution for all of this..
